The new office workspace for pioneering Norwegian video technology company Neat features a colorful range of Flokk designs, selected due to their high levels of sustainability, intuitive use, ergonomic qualities and attractive design. From open-plan areas and medium to large meeting rooms to huddle spaces, booths, personal desks, and hotdesking spots, task chairs, including the HÅG Tion, HÅG Capisco and HÅG Capisco Puls, make up a versatile seating solution.
Neat worked with interior architect company IARK on its state-of-the-art office layout to create the perfect testbed for its portfolio of pioneering video devices, designing an attractive, on-brand workspace to comfortably accommodate Neat's ever-expanding team, with the flexibility to adjust to changing hybrid occupancy levels while inspiring employees, clients and visitors alike.
The result is a naturally vibrant, fully video-enabled office environment comprising a welcoming reception, kitchen, and dining area, a lengthy central walkway, and two opposing wings, accommodating Neat’s various rooms and spaces for online meetings, collaboration, projects, workshops, and social engagement.

"We look for furniture in various height, softness, comfiness, and design to fit all sizes, functions, and preferences. Sustainability is our top priority when buying new furniture. We have great experience with Flokk on all these aspects, and we are especially fond of the HÅG Tion chair. We know that Flokk is a solid supplier that provides good service throughout the whole process in projects, and had the same experience in this project."Lars Olav DybdalInterior Architect, Iark
A top priority for seating was being easy to use. Without dedicated desks and both staff and visitors regularly moving around the workspace, they needed chairs that could be easily adapted to different users, with intuitive controls. They also needed furniture that was easy to maintain, appeared clean and comfortable, and offered comfort and support to allow for maximum productivity and engagement in collaborative work. Environmentally friendly furniture was also a top priority.
HÅG Tion was specified in meeting rooms and open workspaces allocated for visitors and ad-hoc work. Simple controls make it easily adjusted, whilst the HÅG in Balance® technology makes it comfortable and supportive. Made using as few components as possible, HÅG Tion is easily maintained with a strong sustainability profile. Those components are also made from up to 75% recycled materials, including 94% post consumer plastics in the plastic seat and back shells. The complete customisability of HÅG Tion allows for a range of different designs across the workspace, including armrests and different coloured components for different environments.
Additional seating includes HÅG Capisco chairs in peripheral and high desk seating placed along the edges of the office, perfect for short video calls and ad-hoc personal work. HÅG Capisco Puls chairs are also in some of the phone booths.
Feedback from employees has been excellent, with both the aesthetic qualities and comfort noted by those using the chairs in the workspace. The HÅG Tion chair in different configurations works well in meeting rooms as well as by the project table, which seems to be a very popular spot to sit in Neat’s new office.
