Tias Eckhoff
Eckhoff is one of Norway’s most versatile designers, and the creator of several design classics. He is a pioneer within the field of industrial design.
His works represent the Scandinavian design movement and the idea of designing beautiful and functional everyday objects for everyday people.
Eckhoff was educated in ceramic arts at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts where he graduated in 1945. He worked with numerous materials throughout the years and designed everything from porcelain and keys to cutlery and furniture.
